Through conversational AI, the American Red Cross is engaging our community through more channels and expanding our use of emerging technologies. We are able to reach a new audience — getting critical information to those who need help and providing opportunities to those who would like to give help. The Innovation Team at the American Red Cross has developed a suite of chat bots and voice skills, on both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, to further our mission in a variety of areas including disaster response, blood donation, and first aid training.
