The first COVID-19 case had been seen in March 2020 in Turkey. With the increase in the cases, alternative treatment trials had been started. Ministry of Health had suggested the use of convalescent plasma (CP) treatment for severe situations. TRC has been authorized for the donor recruitment and the collection of convalescent plasma activities. We had communicated with recovered COVID-19 patients for asking plasma donation. Appointments had been scheduled for the donor candidates who accepted to donate CP. An application had been developed for the details, records and report on the donor calling by TRC and MoH. The individuals who had an appointment for blood/plasma donation was exempt from the curfew. Therefore, the developed CP donor recruitment application and online blood appointment system had been integrated to enable the trace of donor and donor candidates.
